Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a physical therapy technique that involves hands-on manipulation of the body’s tissues and joints to relieve pain, increase mobility, and promote healing. This type of therapy is commonly used to treat musculoskeletal injuries, such as back pain, neck pain, and joint pain, as well as other conditions, such as headaches and migraines.

Manual therapy encompasses a wide range of techniques, including massage, joint mobilization, stretching, and manipulation. During a manual therapy session, a trained therapist will use their hands to apply pressure, traction, or movement to the affected area. The therapist may also use tools, such as straps or balls, to assist in the therapy.

Some of the benefits of manual therapy include:

  • Pain relief
  • Improved mobility
  • Promotion of healing
