Appointment Information

What to expect at an appointment

During your initial appointment, Michelle will go through a detailed health history to gather information about any medical conditions and past injuries. This is followed by an assessment of your current concern, where together, you can create a treatment plan suited for your specific needs.

All treatments include individual assessment, soft tissue treatment, and home care.

Post massage care

In the 24- 48 hours after your massage there are several things you can do to help enhance the benefits.

Drink extra water to hydrate the tissues that have been worked on. This helps flush out cellular debris.

Do some light movement that moves the body through its full range of movement (ie yoga, stretching). This helps to realign muscle fibers and retain the movement gained in treatment.

Take a warm bath to prolong the relaxation effects and decrease post massage soreness. Adding Epsom salts further enhances the benefits.
