Fees for Assessments

Our Banff Sport Medicine physiotherapy & allied health team in Canmore provides a variety of physiotherapy, dietetics/nutrition, and massage therapy services with competitive fees to meet our patient needs.

Our physiotherapy treatment sessions include access to the gym on the day of your treatment, a home exercise program, Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS), acupuncture, shockwave therapy or electrotherapy modalities (as needed), and post-treatment communication.

Direct Billing

Our physiotherapists and massage therapist currently direct bill for Canada Life, Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance, Desjardins Insurance, Industrial Alliance (iA), Johnson Group Inc., Johnson Inc., Manulife, Medavie Blue Cross, and Sun Life.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you.

A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a space in the clinician’s day that could have been filled by another patient. We understand situations arise when you may need to cancel your appointment and we appreciate advance notice when that happens.

  • We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.  Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the appointment cost.
  • If you do not attend your appointment you will be charged a no-show fee equal to 50% of the appointment cost.
  • If you arrive late for your appointment your time cannot be extended as this will disrupt the schedule for the remainder of the day. You will be charged a fee in accordance with the original appointment you booked.

These fees will be charged to the credit card on file, as most insurance providers will not cover missed appointment/cancellation fees.
