My first visit for a AC joint first degree separation with Nicole was amazing!
Great assessment of my injury, took into account my sports and my lifestyle/occupation as a bartender; recommending the best ways to avoid injuring and be able to return to full duties.
She created a fantastic work out plan for me to improve my injury 1 month post accident. And give direction on what I should change to makes workouts most beneficial
Did dry needling which helped release a lot of tension and checked in on me throughout the treatment to make sure I was comfortable (despite being nervous of dry needling as I’ve never had it. A very soft hand but addressed the spots with expert precision)
Left feeling super optimistic of my recovery and can’t wait to go back in a week to continue to improve and see what else she has for me!

This was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Her intuition and understanding of the body are exceptional. She found exactly where I was holding tension and worked with presence and care. I felt so much more grounded and relax. I highly recommend her. She is a gem.

We highly recommend Shayne for physiotherapy. I saw him for running performance and improvement, and my partner saw him for hip rehab with excellent results. He is also a health professional with strong connections in sports medicine, and after seeing many different physios and practitioners, my partner was especially impressed with Shayne’s depth of knowledge and thoughtful treatment plan.
We would recommend Shayne to anyone looking for physiotherapy, especially athletes, those wanting to improve their biomechanics, or anyone recovering from surgery or injury.

Had a great experience, my physiotherapist was Brooke Goodfellow she did an amazing job explaining every step of the recovery process for me and went above and beyond with treating me to be able to get back to doing what I love as quickly as possible. I would definitely recommend Banff sports medicine and specifically Brooke for any of your physio needs.

Was referred to this clinic after suffering a torn ACL. From my first visit to surgery to follow up recovery appointments - all went smoothly and professionally.
Dr Kopka was my surgeon and she was exceptional in terms of being able to explain things clearly, calm nerves leading up to surgery and post-op care. Am grateful for such exceptional care during a very difficult time.

came here for the first time last week and loved how helpful and sweet everyone was! i had tons of questions and not only did they all get answered, but they all got explanations. with lots of bad experiences (with other doctors and clinics) dealing with my injury that has taken almost 2 years to find a solution for, this place made me feel so incredibly comfortable and stress free! plus, who doesn’t love a great day trip. thank you to all the staff that made me feel super relieved and stress free when i left!

The Acute Injury Clinic is a brilliant idea. I was able to self-refer and see a Sports Medicine Physician and Physio in a timely fashion. I was impressed that Jacob, the phsiotherapist, did not focus only on the injured joint, but also assessed my overall biomechanics. This will aid in my recovery as well as minimize the risk of further injury.

I saw both Jacob and Duncan at different times for physiotherapy for post rotator cuff shoulder surgery. The hands-on work and exercises/homework were very beneficial at that time of my recovery. I felt they both went above and beyond what was required for my rehab.

I've seen Jacob Carter for physiotherapy at this clinic and it has been a great experience!
