Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning is a specialized area of health and wellness aimed at enhancing the performance and overall health of active individuals. It involves exercises and training programs designed by kinesiologists to increase muscle strength, endurance, power, speed, flexibility, and reduce pain.

Here at Banff Sport Medicine, our kinesiologists are movement specialists that will help you improve your physical performance, reduce your injury risk, or aid in your recovery from injury or surgery.

They will assess your strength, mobility, stability, coordination, and conditioning to design and implement exercise programming that is customized for your unique needs, physical abilities, and goals.

As members of an integrated team, our kinesiologists will ensure your return to activity and sport performance is optimized.

Kinesiology = the study of the mechanics of body movement
